After winding-down Neon Beach in 2021, Matt Kelly was eager to go again. But this time he wanted to do something different - he was eager to build around a subscription-model. At the time, mushroom coffee was beginning to trend over in the US, and Matt spotted an opportunity to build a cool brand ‘psychedelic’ in the European market. 

Fast-forward three years, and Spacegoods are on track to do more than $10mn in ARR this year, with north of 15,000 active subscribers. 

The Challenge

After two years of solid growth through their hero product ‘Rainbow Dust’, Spacegoods branched into selling both new product ranges and diversified flavours. While this led to an overall increase in revenues, decision fatigue had become a real issue among new site visitors. Matt realised they were leaving millions on the table due to a leaky acquisition funnel. 

Spacegoods required an easy-to-use A/B testing solution that could easily integrate with their Shopify store to help boost conversions.
